The Reason.

Moszkva Ter

In January 2010, I embarked on an adventure of a lifetime. I traveled thousands of miles away from home to study math in a country that I knew nothing about. I was surrounded by strangers and immersed in a language that I didn't understand.

It turned into the best 4 and a half months of my life.

While abroad, I had to keep a blog for my college. Budagirl was where I kept a log of my adventure, almost day by day.

I realized, after a month of being back in the States, how much I missed writing about my life. It was freeing, and it offered a way to relieve stress. So, here I am again.

Budapest was the happiest time in my life. It was full of hope, love, and amazing friendships. I look forward to what the rest of my life has to offer. While I know it will be nothing like my time abroad, there is no reason it can't be better.
